Dhurakij Pundit University Participates in the 9th Thailand Education Fair Myanmar 2025

Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) proudly participated in the 9th Thailand Education Fair Myanmar 2025, held on 23–24 May 2025 at the Novotel Yangon Max Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar. The event was organized by the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT) and brought together 20 leading public and private Thai universities, showcasing a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs to prospective Myanmar students.

The opening evening on 23 May featured a welcome dinner hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy and AMAUT, attended by university representatives and alumni. Mr. Sakeson Sarobol, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy, expressed his appreciation to the participating universities and commended AMAUT for consistently organizing the fair over the past 10 years.

U Kaung Zan, Vice President of AMAUT, also extended his gratitude to the Thai universities for offering a variety of scholarship opportunities to Myanmar students. Representing the participating universities, Mr. Atit Koirala, Director for Strategic Alliance at DPU, thanked the organizers for their continued commitment to promoting educational collaboration between Thailand and Myanmar.

On 24 May, H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, officially opened the fair. The DPU booth attracted over 200 students, eager to explore academic opportunities in Thailand.

DPU currently offers three undergraduate programs for international students taught in English:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business
  • Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism Management
  • Bachelor of Technology in Information Systems for Digital Business

In addition, DPU offers an MBA program conducted entirely in English. To support talented students, DPU provides scholarships covering 25% to 100% of tuition fees, based on academic excellence and English language proficiency.
