International Student Accommodation and Airport Pickup


At DPU, we understand both the excitement and concerns that come with moving to a new country. To support your transition, we offer a variety of safe and convenient accommodation options both on campus and nearby—perfectly suited for international students.

You can request accommodation by completing the Accommodation Request Form.


DPU provides an Airport Pickup Service from both Don Mueang International Airport and Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The service is arranged by the university or our third-party partner, with transportation directly from the airport to your dormitory.

The service fee is 900 THB from Don Mueang International Airport and 1,200 THB from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. You can request this service by filling out the Airport Pickup Request Form at least 7 days before your arrival date.




Safety and security


Whether you choose DPU-operated dormitories or one of our partner apartments, your safety is our top priority. All accommodations are equipped with essential security features such as CCTV cameras and Key Card access. Our staff regularly check the facilities to ensure student well-being.




Rent  


Monthly rent ranges from 5,000 to 7,000 THB, depending on the type of accommodation. At check-in, students are usually required to pay 2 to 3 months' rent (including a security deposit and advance rent).

The security deposit (1–2 months’ rent) is refundable at the end of the stay, subject to a room inspection and a cleaning fee deduction of 500–1,000 THB.




Utilities and other charges   


Electricity: 8 THB/unit (approx. 1,000 THB/month depending on usage of air conditioner, refrigerator etc.).

Water: 18 THB/unit (approx. 200 THB/month).

Common area maintenance: 200–300 THB/month.

WiFi: Available in all accommodations with an additional charge of 200–300 THB/month.




Room furnishing


All rooms come with: Bed and mattress, Study table, Closet, Private bathroom with shower and toilet. Some accommodations may provide bedding and pillows, but we recommend that students bring their own.




Laundry and drinking water 


Coin operated laundry service machines and drinking water dispensers are available either at the building or nearby.  




Immigration Documentation


All foreign residents must be registered with Thailand’s Immigration Bureau. Our staff will ensure that your accommodation provider registers you properly and provides the required T.M. 30 form, which is essential for visa extensions.

Short-term contract (1–11 months) + 10% of the room fee


- No reservation fee (room deposit) is required in any case.

- Payment must be made as a lump sum only.


For example, if the room fee is 5,000 Baht + 10% = 5,500 Baht, for a 6-month contract, the total payment is 5,500 × 6 = 33,000 Baht, payable upon move-in.




How to Calculate Stamp Duty According to the Revenue Department


(Room rent) × (rental period in months) ÷ 1,000 + 5 Baht (for duplicate copies)


For example:
If the room rent is 5,000 Baht × 12 months ÷ 1,000 + 5 Baht = 65 Baht

Visa Application

Visa Application

After receiving the admission offer, international students may contact the International Student Support Center (ISSC) to begin the visa application process. The ISSC is a student service center located on campus at Building 5, 1st Floor.


The center provides comprehensive consultation and support regarding visa applications, including guidance on required documents, visa procedures, and health insurance arrangements. All services are provided by experienced staff who assist and support students throughout the entire process, from the initial application stage until the completion of the visa process.


The ISSC team will also coordinate with students and accompany them to the Immigration Office when necessary to ensure that all procedures are completed smoothly and in accordance with Thai immigration regulations




Health Insurance

Health Insurance

All international students are required to purchase health insurance through Dhurakij Pundit University to ensure medical coverage throughout their stay in Thailand. The insurance must be renewed annually. The cost is approximately 3,500 THB per person per year, and the process is facilitated by the International Student Support Center (ISSC).


Please note that the price may vary each year depending on the insurance coverage policy.

Free EV Cars

Free EV Cars

Dhurakij Pundit University provides a free EV Shuttle Service to facilitate convenient transportation for students and staff. The service operates Monday–Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a convenient and environmentally friendly way to travel around the area.

- Outbound: Pick-up from the President Building (Building 1) and drop-off in front of Lak Si Station.

- Inbound: Pick-up from Lak Si Station (via Thung Song Hong Police Station) back to the university.

A shuttle service is also available within the campus area, running between main campus road (Soi 2), near the Founder’s Monument.” across the road to the College of Aviation Development and Training (CADT).
