TO BRIDGE THE WORLD ECONOMY DURING THE COVID-19 STRIKE

          Covid-19 pandemic infected both people and economic activities throughout the world.
Regardless of race, gender, religion, or stage of economic development, this pandemic harmed
and killed our people. This hardship has tested how strong the world sticks together as one nation,
not competitors or enemy. Human’s well-being obtained from how well people live and consume
under the constrains that each person has. Behind every revolution, since the past to present,
the only objective of our world was to find way to locate and make the world the better place for all.

          In the good stage of economy, all nations enjoy and share resources from those who have
more to less. Each country specializes and serves to the global economy in much the way they do best.
All nations would help each other, no matter what crisis that they encountered. The covid-19 impacts
the world economy unlike any other crisis in the past, stops the whole economy, and slowdown world
consumption and production. Also, it is literally like taking an undesired long vacation where no one
knows when it will stop.

       The president Xi-Jinping claimed that China was one of the major countries who have played
an important role to provide medical resources, technology, and financial aids to 150 countries
worldwide and 7 international organizations, including Thailand.  It is appropriate to conclude that
chinashows sincere and strong determination to bridge the world economy during the covid-19 strike.
The speech of the president Xi-Jinping via China International Import Expo (CIIE2020), was held in
Shanghai on the 4th November 2020, openly expressed sincere and strong determination of China to
bring together the regional and world economy during the covid-19 hardship.

          The main messages of the president Xi-Jinping were to show to the world that China had
completed magnificent progress, in all dimensions, to liberalize international trade and investment
of China into the global economy. According to the speech of the president Xi-Jinping, we learned
that China promised their stays committed to openness, cooperation, and unity for win-win results.

             Since an open-door policy, the WTO participation, and the latest Free Trade Zone
-like Hainan, the world’s citizen could notice China has become a part of the world economy
and became a world’s major importers. For example, China started to import mechanical &
electrical product, hi-tech product, metal mine & ore, crude petroleum oil, and agriculture product
increasingly and continuously. The sources of exporters are various and the amount since 2001
until the covid-19 pandemic is growing. China does not only import enormous final products
but also deliver raw materials, high-quality intermediate goods, and relative-lower-cost productive
technology to the world economy. These amounts of economic benefits are contributed to improving
the global value chain, logistics, employment, and production efficiency worldwide.

The rise of China economy and the increasing number of people in the new middle-income
class had provided mutual benefit to the less developed countries. In responding to development
path to the future, China agreed to provide the free flow of technology, openness and global
economic engaging by Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and speed up
negotiations on a China-EU investment treaty and a China-Japan-ROK trilateral (Summit) on
free trade agreement, improving the business environment and foreign investment law, and
advancing high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. We will see more exchanges and mutual
learning with high-standard free trade zones in other parts of the world.  Finally, we could
learn that China will take an active part in WTO reform and cooperation at the United Nations,
the G20, APEC, BRICS and other fora. In the near future, we will see the progress that China
will work with partner countries to promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and build a
community with a shared future for mankind.
