โครงการออกแบบชุดเครื่องมือที่มีประสิทธิภาพสำหรับงานถอด ประกอบอุปกรณ์

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้าง พัฒนาและทดสอบชุดเครื่องมือใหม่ที่สามารถลดระยะเวลาในการทำงาน และลดความเมื่อยล้าของช่างประปาในงานถอด - ประกอบอุปกรณ์ในโถสุขภัณฑ์ แบบชักโครก 2 ชิ้น แทนชุดเครื่องมือที่ช่างประปาใช้กันทั่วไป โดยทดสอบการเปรียบเทียบระยะเวลาการทำงานและความเมื่อยล้าของช่างประปาระหว่างชุดเครื่องมือใหม่ และชุดเครื่องมือที่ช่างประปาใช้กันทั่วไป และความพึงพอใจของหัวหน้างานในด้านคุณภาพงาน การวิจัยนี้เลือกสถานที่ทดสอบชุดเครื่องมือดังกล่าว 2 แห่ง ซึ่งมีทั้งพื้นที่ห้องน้ำที่สะดวกและไม่สะดวกต่อการถอด-ประกอบอุปกรณ์ในโถสุขภัณฑ์
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ช่างประปาที่ใช้ชุดเครื่องมือใหม่ใช้เวลาในการทำงานการถอด-ประกอบอุปกรณ์ในโถสุขภัณฑ์น้อยกว่าที่ใช้ชุดเครื่องมือที่ช่างประปาใช้กันทั่วไป ทั้งในพื้นที่สะดวกและไม่สะดวกในการทำงาน กล่าวคือสามารถลดระยะเวลาการทำงานในพื้นที่ไม่สะดวกได้มากถึงร้อยละ 34.48 และการใช้ชุดเครื่องมือใหม่สามารถลดระดับความเมื่อยล้าของช่างประปาได้มากกว่าการใช้ชุดเครื่องมือที่ช่างประปาใช้กันทั่วไปในทุกพื้นที่การทำงาน นอกจากนี้หัวหน้างานยังมีความพึงพอใจในคุณภาพงานเมื่อใช้ชุดเครื่องมือใหม่มากกว่าเครื่องมือที่ใช้กันทั่วไป เมื่อกล่าวโดยสรุปประสิทธิภาพในการใช้ชุดเครื่องมือใหม่ในงานถอด-ประกอบอุปกรณ์ในโถสุขภัณฑ์แบบชักโครก 2 ชิ้นสูงกว่าชุดเครื่องมือที่ช่างประปาใช้กันทั่วไปในทุกพื้นที่การทำงาน

 

The purpose of this research was to construct, develop and test a new hand tool set which could reduce the amount of a plumber’s working time in turning off and assembling two pieces of flush toilet installation in place of the hand tool set which were utilized by plumbers in general. The comparisons of the plumber’s working time and fatigue while using the new hand tool set and the plumber’s traditional equipment including the Chief’s satisfaction in terms of the work quality were investigated. Two sites were selected to test the new hand tool set which consisted of two kinds of the toilet floor – convenient and non-convenient toilet floor for turning off and assembling pieces of flush toilet installation.
It was found that the amount of time the plumber spent on turning off and assembling toilet installation with the new hand tool set was less than the amount of time he spent on working with the traditional hand tool set, no matter how the toilet floor was – convenient and not convenient for working on the flush toil installation. In other words, the plumber, with the new hand tool set, could reduce 34.48 percent of his time spent on working in the site with the inconvenient toilet floor and using the new hand tool set could reduce the plumber’s fatigue more than using the traditional hand tool set in all types of working condition. Furthermore, Chief’s level of satisfaction with the work quality of the new hand tool set was higher than that of the traditional one. To sum up, the efficiency of using the new hand tool set for turning off and assembling two pieces of flush toilet installation was higher than that of the traditional equipment.
