ผลของการจัดกิจกรรมแบบกลุ่มร่วมมือด้วยเทคนิค STAD (Student Teams - Achievement Divisions) เพื่อพัฒนาการอ่านจับใจความภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยวและการโรงแรม

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาผลการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือด้วยเทคนิค STAD (Student Teams -Achievement Divisions)เพื่อพัฒนาการอ่านจับใจความวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยวและโรงแรม ของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 คณะการท่องเที่ยวและโรงแรม มหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจฑิตย์ 2) เพื่อประเมินความพึงพอใจของนักศึกษาที่มีต่อกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนแบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ STAD หลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD  ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 3 คณะการท่องเที่ยวและการโรงแรม มหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์ ที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนวิชาการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยวและโรงแรม (LH311) ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 / 2556 จำนวน 28 คน จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ (Action Research)  เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วย (1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เรื่องการอ่านจับใจความแบบร่วมมือด้วยเทคนิค STAD รวมทั้งสิ้น  5 แผนๆ ละ 90 นาที (2) แบบทดสอบก่อนเรียน (Pretest) และหลังเรียน ( Posttest) (3) แบบวัดความพึงพอใจต่อกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนแบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ STAD หลังการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ การทดสอบค่าด้วย Paired t-test ผลการวิจัยพบว่าผลสัมฤทธิ์ด้านการอ่านจับใจความภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาหลังได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือด้วยเทคนิค STAD ด้านการอ่านจับใจความวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ (Posttest) พบว่านักศึกษามีคะแนนเฉลี่ยหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.001 นอกจากนี้ ผลการศึกษาความพึงพอใจต่อวิธีการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือด้วยเทคนิคSTAD  ของนักศึกษาพบว่า นักศึกษามีความพึงพอใจในภาพรวมที่ระดับค่อนข้างสูง  ( Mean = 4.06, S.D. = 0.57) และเมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่าความพึงพอใจของนักศึกษาอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดทุกด้าน

The purposes of this research were:  1) to study the effect of using STAD Cooperative Learning Activities to develop the  English Reading Comprehension for Hotel and Tourism Business of the third-year students   2) to assess the students’ satisfaction toward learning English by  using STAD Cooperative Learning Activities. This  was an Action Research using the Pretest Posttest control group. The samples were 28 students derived from the purposive sampling method and they were the third-year students of the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism of Dhurakij Pundit University enrolled in LH 311 course in the second semester of academic year 2013  The instruments employed to collect data were       1) lesson plans and 5 sets of  English Reading Comprehension materials using  STAD Cooperative Learning Activities,  90 minutes for each set  2) The pretest and posttest of learning achievement in English Reading Comprehension       3) The questionnaire used to assess the students’ satisfaction toward learning English by  using STAD Cooperative Learning Activities.  The data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, and paired t-test.  The research findings  revealed  that the students’ posttest reading comprehension scores ,after learning by STAD Cooperative Learning Activities, were significantly higher than the pretest scores at the .001 level and the overall results of students’ satisfaction level toward learning English by using STAD Cooperative Learning Activities was quite high ( Mean = 4.06, S.D. = 0.57). However, if considering the students’ satisfaction in more details, the level of their satisfaction was at the highest  level of all aspects.
