MSc (BI) - Master of Science in Business Informatics
We are currently accepting applications for admission for the first semester of the 2010 academic year.
Program Objectives: The growth of business informatics in organizations has been substantial in recent years as technologies are rapidly changing the way organizations conduct their business. In order to succeed in today’s connected and intensively competitive environments, a new type of manager is required to integrate both business and technology perspectives.
To meet this growing demand, DPUIC is offering a Master of Science program in Business Informatics. This program was designed for middle and senior level executives who want to upgrade their present skills to gain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the information and communication technology-driven business environment.
Students in this program will:
- Gain skills and knowledge in business informatics from both academic and technical perspectives from first-rate professors and practitioners.
- Become business informatics professionals in areas such as business information systems, business systems analysis, data communications and networking and data mining.
- Be qualified to be employed in the field of information technology and middle and senior level managers in government departments or in private industry.
Length of Program: Two Years (Part-Time Program)
Degree Requirement: 36 Credits
Semesters:
- Semester 1: June - October
- Semester 2: November - February
- Summer: March - May
Program Timetable:
- Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Postgraduate Applications Accepted: DPUIC accepts Admission Application throughout the year; however, incoming postgraduate students can only begin their studies during Semester 1 or Semester 2.
